Overview

Jordan is a corporate and securities partner who advises clients on capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and ongoing public-company reporting obligations. With a particular focus on the energy industry, he represents leading exploration and production, midstream, chemical, equipment manufacturing, and energy-services companies, as well as private equity funds and family offices.

Jordan has guided clients through more than 180 public and private debt and equity offerings totaling more than $150 billion and over 75 completed M&A transactions with an aggregate value exceeding $40 billion. His experience includes public and private securities offerings, PIPE transactions, joint ventures and partnership formations, acquisitions and divestitures, and special-committee and conflicts-committee matters. He also counsels public companies on SEC reporting, insider and ownership reporting, corporate governance, and compliance with NYSE, Nasdaq, and other securities-market requirements.

In addition, Jordan advises high-net-worth individuals and family offices on governance, risk management, entity formation, portfolio investments, private equity and venture fund investments, strategic alliances, and other transactional matters. His work has earned recognition from Legal 500 United States, IFLR 1000, Texas Lawyer, Texas Super Lawyers, and The Texas Lawbook.
