HuntonAK Labor and Employment partner Emily Burkhardt Vicente was honored as a finalist for Mentor of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal at their 2023 Women’s Leadership Symposium and Awards.

The Los Angeles Business Journal honored women of outstanding achievement in the Los Angeles business community, the Mentor of the Year awards were presented to those who have demonstrated commitment to bettering the careers of women.  Emily and all honorees are featured in LABJ’s online supplement.

Emily was recently honored by the Los Angeles Business Journal's 2023 Diversity, Equity + Inclusion Awards as a nominee for Diversity, Equity + Inclusion Executive of the Year; named as a 2022 Go-To Thought Leader by The National Law Review; recognized in the 2022 inaugural Leaders of Influence: Labor and Employment Attorneys in Los Angeles, Los Angeles Business Journal; recognized as a 2022 Diversity & Inclusion Visionary in The Los Angeles Times’ Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Accessibility magazine.

Los Angeles partners Ann Marie Mortimer and Jane Hinton were also recognized, Anne Marie as an Executive of the Year nominee and Jane as a Champion for Women nominee.
