Labor and Employment partners Emily Burkhardt Vicente and Roland Juarez have been recognized as  Leaders of Influence: Labor & Employment Attorney by the Los Angeles Business Journal.

The LABJ list honors 45 attorneys recognized as outstanding professionals in the industry, based on their professional achievements, community leadership, milestones and notable accomplishments throughout the last 12-18 months.

Roland is known for handling high-stakes labor and employment cases for some of California’s largest and most high-profile employers in the service, manufacturing, retail and aerospace industries, successfully defending clients against the most challenging wage and hour, discrimination and non-compete claims facing employers in California and across the nation. This is Roland’s fourth consecutive year being recognized among the Leaders of Influence: Labor & Employment Attorneys.

Emily is an accomplished trial lawyer who defends employers in complex employment litigation, including California and FLSA wage and hour class and collective actions, California representative PAGA actions, employment discrimination class actions, and complex whistleblower matters. Emily was previously recognized by LABJ as a Leader of Influence: Labor & Employment Attorney in 2022.
